Weddings and Corporate Events

Celebrate your special event at this historic landmark where John & Violet began their lives together in 1761. They established a home, had 10 children, and were married for more than 50 years. The Davidsons would be one of Mecklenburg County’s most influentul families, fighting for North Carolina’s freedom from British rule, helping construct the once dominant iron industry in neighboring Lincoln county, providing for the construction of Davidson College, and constructing and inhabiting several of the area’s finest homes, some still with us today. There is indeed something very unique about Rural Hill and we invite you to share this uniqueness in the confines of this great, historic, and beautiful location.
