It’s more than a little confusion…

One of the most exciting and fun-filled events we do here at Historic Rural Hill is the Amazing Maze. We will plant a field of corn which miraculously turns into a fascinating seven acre maze of corn!

Background

A historical or related theme to Rural Hill is carefully chosen for each maze. It helps us introduce the farm to newcomers and encourages those who enjoy coming back for an entirely new maze experience.

Next, the maze is cut with precision by staff and volunteers to create an incredible piece of artistic work. We later take photos from the air which are quite captivating.

Family Fun 

This is a great opportunity for families to work together in exploring and solving the clues to make it through the maze. Consider bringing your neighbors out and challenge them to see who can get through the maze first!

Those of you getting ready to cross the threshold of marriage consider bringing your fiancée out to cross through the stalks of corn. It will be a test of your spirit and devotion for one another.

School and Youth Groups 

Bring the kids out for a fun day at the farm. Not only will they have the chance to experience the maize, but they can visit the farm and learn about life in rural America. Bring a picnic lunch even!

Corporate Outing 

Do you have a staff which never finds the time to get to know one another?

Do you have a staff which has difficulty working as a team?

Are you looking for a great activity for your staff, which will build teamwork and rejuvenate their spirit?

The Amazing Maize Maze has all of the elements to illustrate that victory can be achieved through strategizing, leadership, daring, and perseverance!
